In November I found myself looking for a Christmas gift for my father (outdoor 28" Pine Table made by The Bear Chair Company) that - hindsight being what it is - I should have bought back in May / June of this year when they were in stock everywhere. Bear Chair does not sell direct, so I called hardware stores and garden centers (as listed on Bear Chair's website of approved vendors) working away from St Catharines and weighing out how far I'd be prepared to drive to get this item for my dad (which was all he was asking for too). After several conversations with customer service people at several stores - and one woman that straight up laughed at me - Julie at the CottageSpot took my call. She was able to coordinate with Bear Chair to ship direct to my house. The table was received, stained, and assembled to match the existing chairs - it was the gift my dad wanted. Our new CR Plastic pub set looks fabulous on our deck!   It is sturdy construction that looks like it will last for years. But the true star of this purchase is the Cottage Spot customer service team.
